EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
DJ BENXINO1 hails from Katsina-Ala, Benue State, Nigeria, where he was born into a middle-class family. He attended both his primary in his home town Katsina-Ala and secondary education in Jos Plateau State, but later completed his SS classes in Lagos State, before proceeding to the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi now called, Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi, Benue State (JOSTUM), where he studied Computer Software Engineering Despite his academic commitments, DJ BENXINO1 always had a passion for music and often performed at school events and other informal gatherings.
His love for music eventually led him to pursue it as a career, a decision that would change his life forever. However, he did not abandon his education.
CAREER BEGINNINGS
DJ BENXINO1 burst onto the Nigerian music scene in 2024 with the release of his hit mixtape, “Mega vibes Turn up mix.†The mixtape was an instant success, receiving massive airplay across Nigeria and beyond. His smooth, melodious mixing and infectious plays captured the hearts of fans, solidifying his presence in the Nigerian music industry.
And due to his skills he formed the KINGS EMPIRE ENTERTAINMENT Label where he is the CEO..
Following the success of “Mega vibes Turn up mixtape” DJ BENXINO1 released another hit mix, “Born for the vibes mixtape,†which further cemented his position as one of Nigeria’s most promising young Djs and artists. His debut studio mix album, (Amapiano no be Jazz) “Amapiano ways mixtape”, released in 2023, was a major success, containing numerous hit mixes like “Vibes with fire,†“Amapiano vibes mixtape,†and “Vibes with hype mixtape.†The album was highly acclaimed, winning several streams and plays.
DJ BENXINO1 launched his own record label, DE KINGS EMPIRE ENTERTAINMENT in 2021. The move proved to be a turning point in his career, allowing him greater creative freedom. Under his new label, DJ BENXINO1 continued to produce hit mixes and collaborate with other top DJs, and musical artists.
In 2023, he released his second studio mix album, “AMAPIANO WAYS MIXTAPE” which featured collaborations with international stars like Diplo, Sarkodie, and Davido. The album was a commercial success, spawning hit mixes, this albums also demonstrated DJ BENXINO1’S growth as an artist, showcasing his versatility and ability to blend different musical genres.
CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS
DJ BENXINO1’s career has been marked by numerous accolades. His ability to consistently release hit mixes and songs has earned him recognition both locally and internationally. Some of his notable achievements include winning awards in his hometown and State among others.
He has collaborated with a wide range of artists and Djs including DJ Busta Seth AIT, Dj Shishi Burst Groove, Dj Klems, Dj Philip, Dj Legalize, Dj Ranty, Dj Bemwhite, Dj Blend, and musical artists like, Tooprince, Mr. Laazis, Triple T, Funnyboi, Bigman Vybez, and many more…..further expanding his reach within the African music industry. His unique sound and ability to infuse Afrobeat with pop elements have made him a favorite across the continent.

Despite his talent and career, DJ BENXINO1 has managed to keep his personal life relatively private, which he also tends to avoid publicizing his personal affairs. further keeping his family life away from the public eye.
